Corn situation after the close Tuesday, March 11, 2025:


May corn settled yesterday at $4.70¼, +18¾¢ since last Tuesday.


Tuesday’s closing price was $1.03 below the contract high of $5.73¼ (Jun 21, 2023) and 56¢ above the contract low of $4.14¼ (Aug 26, 2024).


USDA’s 2024/25 crop carryout in terms of days’ use: US 37, world 85.
