Corn situation after the close Tuesday, February 18, 2025:
March corn settled yesterday at $5.02½, +18½¢ since last Tuesday.
Tuesday’s closing price was 71¼¢ below the contract high of $5.73¾ (Jan 3, 2023) and 98¾¢ above the contract low of $4.03¾ (Aug 26, 2024).
USDA’s 2024/25 crop carryout in terms of days’ use: US 37, world 86.
