Corn situation after the close Tuesday, December 24, 2024:

March corn settled yesterday at $4.48½, +5¢ since last Tuesday.

Tuesday’s closing price was $1.25¼ below the contract high of $5.73¾ (Jan 3, 2023) and 44¾¢ above the contract low of $4.03¾ (Aug 26, 2024).

USDA’s 2024/25 crop carryout in terms of days’ use: US 42, world 87.
