Dollar Index settled at 99.23, -0.55.
Baltic Dry Index (a shipping freight-cost index) settled at 1,261, -13 for the week.
Corn
May futures at $4.82¼, -8¢ for the week.
December futures at $4.66, +2½¢ for the week.
Basis (K = May; e.g. 10K means 10¢ over May futures) (Futures price + Basis = Cash price)
The US national average basis is -27K, steady.
Dayton, Ohio Cargill’s spot basis is 15K, steady, $4.97 cash price.
Iowa Falls Poet’s spot basis is -3K, 2¢ firmer, $4.79 cash price.
