Dow Jones Industrial Average Index settled at 40,213, +1,898 points for the week.
Crude oil settled at $61.48, -0.84.
Dollar Index settled at 99.78, -3.11.
Baltic Dry Index (a shipping freight-cost index) settled at 1,274, -215 for the week.
Corn
May futures at $4.90¼, +30¢ for the week.
December futures at $4.63½, +16¾¢ for the week.
Basis (K = May; e.g. 10K means 10¢ over May futures) (Futures price + Basis = Cash price)
The US national average basis is -27K, 2¢ firmer.
Dayton, Ohio Cargill’s spot basis is 15K, steady, $5.05 cash price.
Iowa Falls Poet’s spot basis is -5K, steady, $4.85 cash price.
