Tidbits, Tornados, Weather, CO2, DP Free Storage 4/29/24

There were tornados in the Midwest on Friday and Saturday, most of which were from Oklahoma north into Iowa. We know many of our clients suffered serious damage and perhaps some serious injuries. Our prayers are with you.

Highlights


Reuters News Service world ag reporter, Karen Braun, reported oilseed workers at one of Argentina's largest ports will go on strike today to protest the government's proposed tax and labor reforms. Argentina is the world’s largest exporter of soy oil and soybean meal.

 

Karen also reported that Russia's state weather forecaster on Sunday said it sees the threat of drought persisting in May for Russia's top wheat growing area. March and April have been among the driest ever for that area.
