AgRural claims it is an independent, privately owned Brazilian agricultural consultancy established in Curitiba, Paraná, since 1996. It provides market information/analysis and consulting services for farmers and agricultural companies in 12 Brazilian states, representing about 90% of the country’s corn and soybean production.

AgRural Consultancy has a wide and reliable network of farmers, agronomists, cooperatives, and trading firms all over the country that helps anticipate the main trends of the Brazilian market. Daniele Siqueira is one of their reporters. She presented this graph Friday afternoon showing the soybean harvest progress this year in Mato Grosso (MT), which produces about 32% of Brazil’s soybeans and 40% of Brazil’s corn, which is mostly second crop safrinha corn.
