A few days ago, we reported a client’s fuel supplier told him that they were unable to get a load of diesel and their truck had to come home empty. No reason was given. Another of our clients did some research and learned that an electrical fire disabled the ability for the supplier to load tankers. Thanks, Don.

USDA announced yesterday morning the sale of 264,000 mts of new crop soybeans to unknown destination.

Soybeans settled yesterday 24 cents off the day’s low. That is bullish. New crop beans sales are 29% of the USDA export projection for new crop beans; last year at this time, bean sales were 23% of USDA projection for the marketing year.

Taiwan fired warning shots across the bow of a Chinese drone. This was the first use of live rounds rather than the flares Taiwan fired at China’s drones in July. Stock market was rattled by that news.
